It's pretty much all I've been eating (or I guess, drinking) lately, and I was just wondering what the nutritional value is of it. It looks like it's loaded with fat, but what do I know!

I'm not anorexic - I'm just going through some hard times and not eating very much. It's making my stomach pretty upset so I've been taking a bunch of pepto...

No, there is absolutely NO fat in Pepto Bismol! It is thick because of the ingredients in it, none of which is fat. There shouldn't be any calories either because it is sweetened with saccharin. Ingredients listed below, but you really need to eat real food! If you have stomach problems, see a doctor. It isn't good to keep taking any medicine for very long.
Active Ingredients: Bismuth Subsalicylate (525 mg (236mg of salicylate))
Inactive Ingredients: Benzoic Acid, Flavor, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Methylcellulose, Red 22, Red 28, Saccharin Sodium, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Salicylate, Sorbic Acid, Water

If pepto bismol or any other medication had any calories or fat in them then it would say it on the label. My advice to you is to eat some real food SOON!!! You'll only regret it in the long run.

you need a psychiatric evalutaion immediately.
don't let anything outside of you measure your self-esteem for you!!! I learned this the hard way by recovering from anorexia. you are not your body and can't take it with you (you can't take your favorite drink there- pepto- with you either sadly).
It's unfortunate that something as insignificant as a tape measure can have such an impact on how we feel about ourselves. DON'T LET IT!!! They cannot measure who you are! Exercise. Refuse to skip meals. Do things that make you intrinsically happy. you are the only one that can make you happy. After all, the standards your measure yourelf by should be your own.

Where are people getting the wacky notion that vegetable oil counts as a vegetable? It's a fat!

Check the ingredients. I'm not certain what it has in it as I haven't used it ever, but if it has vegetable oil in it, it counts as vegetables; so, don't worry about it in that case.
