NOPE...not silly at all!! I think its a really good thing that you are waitin til you guys get married. Usually its the girl that wants to wait - or in all the movies i've seen. I think she's one lucky girl!! Good luck on the marriage. :)

You should absolutely have sex before with her before you are married. If you truly are in love with here - and intend to marry her - then there should be very little moral issues with it.
But - as some people correctly pointed out, if there are any surprises waiting for you - better to find out about them sooner rather than later.
What if you absolutly LOVE sex, and she is indifferent toward it, or vice-versa - you don't want to find that out after marriage because it is not fair to either of you... and someone will eventually stray.
Plus - for most people, to get/be good at sex, it takes practice. And even with any new partner, there's usually some break-in time of finding out each others "buttons" so to speak. Once again, you don't want to find out after marriage that the two of you aren't sexually compatible.
Ask yourself these questions: Do you want to be a good lover? Do you want your wife to be a good lover? How are either of you going to ge that way without some practice first?

If you feel like waiting to have sex, then wait. If she loves you and willing to wait until that, and you will marry her knowing that for sure. If you have sex with her now, she may not be the right one for you and you lost it to the wrong .
Wait to see if she is worth it, if she is the right one. She should be showing you her love and respect and to do that, she respects your morals and beliefs in waiting and your reasons behind it.
Wait until you know for a fact she is the right girl to do this with.

This is not a silly thing to do, it is mature to wait until both parties are ready emotionally and physically, if you both decide to wait until marriage that is a sensible decision, but if you decide that before marriage is correct for you than please take the proper precautions.

It is customary to wait until marriage anyway before having sex however unless you both are ready to have sex thats a different story

Of course it's not silly if that's what you want to do. Now if your girl is ready for sex - she might question your sexuality and/or manhood if you're not ready for sex. If she's not ready either then you haved nothing to worry about. Just know that it will take quite a while for you and her to learn to enjoy each other sexually when you do start "doing it".

It's admirable, but suppose she snorts like a wounded pig every time she gets sexually aroused and you didn't find that out before marriage. Now I'm not saying that wouldn't deter you from marrying her but now you are in for a life time of snorting pig sounds in your bedroom. That's something you could have found out before you got married.
