How do change the product key in XP without reinstalling the OS?

Hi,

Try using the Windows Product Key Update Tool, available here:
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/selfhelp/PKUInstructions.aspx

This should allow you to put in your now genuine copy's key to overwrite the other one. It should also check the windows system files to make sure they're valid too.

Try this site I have had to change one before and it worked for me you can also find out how to change the key on microsofts website.......Thanks
