A raw, 100 percent vegan diet. That is where nothing you eat is cooked at all, not even boiled, microwaved, or steamed, but totally raw. There are no animal products either (no eggs, dairy, etc.). No refined sugar, no sugar substitutes.

Just fresh raw fruit, vegetables, nuts, greens, roots, and any other edible things that come from plants, and are in their natural, unprocessed, raw form. Also, juice, as long as it is fresh from the juicer, and it's from uncooked fruit/vegetables.

Also, you should filter your water, and take an acidophilus supplement. And a b complex vitamin supplement.

Typically, if an overweight person sticks to this type of diet 100 percent with absolutely no cheating, not even the tiniest piece of candy, they will lose weight quickly. I am trying to go on it this week myself.

Here is a page with testimonials for you. You don't have to buy anything to go on this diet:

edited: I forgot to add, you can eat as much as you want, just as long as you do not ever eat any food that goes against the diet. The diet won't fail, as long as you do not cheat at all. Not even a little bit.

I drink no sodas. I keep a pitcher of cold water in the frig and also drink juice. For snacks, it's always popcorn from a hot-air popper. For breakfast, it's a real tasty salad with salad dressing, crispy toppings, bacon bits, and croutons. I guess it should be cereal, but ...... I have a small rice steamer with a steamer tray that I bought from Sears (Salton Rice Steamer $20). I cook a cup of rice with curry and pepper so it's not bland. I add a few other spices too. I put frozen green beans and a chicken thigh in the steamer tray after covering the chicken with curry and Mrs. Dash. That's the main part of my low-fat, low calorie diet. I am planning on going to Yahoo Food and click on low calorie recipes when I find the time. I'm sure you should eat lots of fruit and vegetables too. Good luck.

Lentils are brilliant. They don't need soaking for hours (just put a couple of handfuls into a cup and fill with water, leave for an hour) and then add to whatever you have in your cupboard: onions, beans, potatoes, leeks etc. Do what you fancy. They boil in about 15 minutes. Add a sauce - cheese, made by yourself if you are up to roux, or tinned.

I have found a diet that really works and doesn't cost anything except FAITH. You say a prayer, ask Jesus to help you eat only when you are hungry and not to over eat, then you leave it in His hands and believe and it will work. I worked for me because I have lost 20 lbs. in2 months. This diet is called The Faith Diet.

Have a small serving of meat and load up on the vegetables. Think of food as fuel for your body rather than a way to occupy your time.

ok. one more time people.

DIETS DO NOT WORK.

eat healthy and move your butt. that's all there is to it.

you have to change your behavior so it becomes the way you live. diets are scams for a quick fix that doesn't exist.

you have to eat to maintain your metabolism- a diet of 1200 calories is barely going to maintain the poop you took this morning.

eat. be well. move. thrive. really- it's that easy.

Count calories.
Limit yourself to 1000-1200 per day.
Exercise.

How's that for cheap?
