ok well i just found out that the guy i like likes me back but my friend told me that he used 2 smoke but she doesnt kno if he still does. so what do i do. could he really quit that fast? how can i find out if he does w/o being nosey. i really need answers!! he just turned 13 so plz help me!!

Alright,alright.At 13 (if he is the same age as you) I doubt he is a chain smoker.He may have tried one,but that's not uncommon at 13.Now what I'm actually very impressed with is that it seems if he smokes you don't want to date him,and your parents should be proud of you for that.And I see in one of the other answers someone gave you they said you were to young to be in love.Now granted I doubt you will find your future husband in middle school but I believe you can have thee same natural feelings of love for some one at any age.Of course your gonna feel love because even at 13 you can find someone that is everything you want at that particular time.Those wants and needs in a person change over time-the reason you wont marry the guy you dated in 7th grade.And yes although it stinks to hear hormones do have something to with it.So you know you like this guy,and he obviously has some kind of rep that he has either smoked before or "does smoke"
do you really want your self associated with this person?Like I said before you seem to have good morals just follow them.Because once you get to high school you have alot more to worrie about in a person than if they just smoke.You should enjoy your teenage years.Stay out of trouble and have fun!You seem like a smart and nice girl!Don't cut yourself short just because a guy is cute!Hope i helped!Good LUCK!

HES 13?!!!! that's crazy!!! maybe you should just ask him but be cool with it. Pull out something from your purse and pretended that someone left it in there then say "i cant believe she left this in my purse" and just as you are ready to throw it away hold it towards him and say "you smoke" then you will receive your answer.

i he likes and he smokes then im sure if he really wanted to be with you he would quit for you, but if he won't quit then you 2 weren't meant to be, you never know about guys though, good luck!

Just ask. Depending on what it is, most young people are happy to admit to peers that they are smoking because they think they look cool.

Ask him if he does. Chances are that it was a one-time thing. Or, have a friend ask him. Or when you're around him, smell his clothes, breath, etc. Chances are he's not doing it at school, rather after school, etc. Or, you could cut out every surgeon general's warning you see in magazines, then put them in a box and give them to him. I dunno. Just ask him.

no, it is impossible to be in love at 13, youre a child, i know you wont listen to me, but you should be doing other stuff, boys only want one thing at that age.
