Well, i wouldn´t say anything. I guess u should try to get into a casual conversation with him. U should try to seem interested in everything he says and gradually ask questions about himself.

What about just a simple smile and a hi? Let nature takes it course,if it is meant to be,then it will. Don't try to rush anything cause that is usually when it backfires on you. Good luck

Say "I think you're cool, want to go hang out sometime?" It's better if you have something specific in mind, a football game, out for a cup of coffee, etc.
