I continuosly have nightmares, since I was little, and I think that makes me unable to rest properly.

how is your diet at night? stay away from heavy foods and try not to eat couple of hours before sleep time.

You probably have some kind of subconcious issues going on. Perhaps you should work with a pyschologist or therapist and discuss what occurs in your nightmares and try to get to the root of it on a concious level. Perhaps by taking the steps to resolve whatever those issues are will make your nightmares disappear.

If you are religious, you should try praying for protection while you sleep, sleeping with a light on and place a crucifix in your room over your bed. That always works for us! You could also have your Priest or your Pastor come over and bless your home. ;)

do you eat strange foods are night ?

go by a psychologist and work out deep rooted problems you've had form ya childhood

and hopefully u will sleep better :)
