Yes it is and it should have less of the growth hormones and antibiotics that beef is fed..... I think the price is worth it.
I love deer meat. Bison is good too.
Tastes like sirloin but a bit better.

Because deer are wild animals and not farmed domestically it is illegal to serve venison (deer meat) in restaurants in order to protect the species from over hunting and inevitable extinction. Though small operations are starting to take form there is by no means a sustainable resource at this stage.

Yes and there are several meat alternatives to red meat. Try going to www.exoticmeats.com. They have several different types of meat and they tell you how lean it is compared to red meat.

Venison is very low in fat. If I was able to buy it during the non-hunting season I would. It is much better for you. It is also higher in iron than beef.

yes but most tend to mix in a little fat to get it to cook i have lots in the freezer. i live off if all year long
