We had three quotes a couple of years ago and they ranged from £3000-£3500 for a wee three bed semi and insurance is extra!
Best to get a few quotes
We were trying to decide whether to sell everything and buy new over there or take it all with us. I looked up an immigration web-site for advice the majority of expats said don't sell but to take everything
here's one link but think there are more

Last year we contacted GB Liners and they said that we hire the container, they quoted £4500 for a full sized (40ft) ISO container door to door. They said the car would go in first and then all the furniture and goods. (You are allowed to import one vehicle without paying duty)
If you are not taking a car, a half size (20ft) would probably do. If memory serves me right I seem to remember a figure of around £2500 for that.
We also talked about taking our caravan with us as they are quite expensive out there, and as it's a fairly new one, we wouldn't get the money back that we paid for it if we sold it here and bought over there...that would have to go as roll on roll off in the hold, and would cost around £2,500 and in our opinion it's well worth taking it. (no duty payable on the caravan)
If you contact GB Liners (I can recommend them they're very good) I am sure they would be happy to give you a quote.

It cost us £1000 for a 10 meter container to be shipped from teesside uk to alicante in spain a distance of 1500 miles by air , i think your container will be in the region of £2000 + , Best to ring up a few removal company`s ( these organise everything for you )...Good luck

You need to know how much of a container your items will fill, sometimes more than one families belongings can go into one container and the total cost for shipping is divided between them.
You need to contact a shipping company for an estimate.

You need to call a freight fowarder in your country. They can come out to your home and give you estimates.
