Its not the pro-lifers in general, it is the "religious zealot pro-lifers".

I tend to disagree some with both sides. I am pro-choice but I believe there is a point where choice should no longer be available except in cases of medical reasons: 6 months. Come on, 6 months to make a decision. That isn't too hard.

I once talked to a guy who said that baby wasn't a baby until a birth certificate was issued. He was obviously a radical pro-choice nut. Anyone that believes government determines when life exists truly needs help.

So basically, there are nuts on both sides.

ummmm.....what exactly is more violent than killing children, pre-born or otherwise. Being with mom should be the safest place for a child, not the most lethal. There is no justification for killing the doctors, however. In any group of people there are always extremists, whether it is a group of religious or politically motivated people.

I was wondering the same thing. I see them in the same light as the foreign extremists you see on tv burning flags and cursing at at nations they've never stepped into. I've read some posts here of people hoping all pro-choicers gets a miscarriage for the 'murder' they support. My answer to you is that I strongly believe they are not as enlightened as souls and human beings and have less love and compassion than the latter group. Hence the judgements, uncontolled emotions, threats and hate.

I know many pro-lifers who are quiet and just pray. Common sense should dictate that it is wrong to kill a human being in any stage whether newly created or on the way out. Apparently, some in civilized society think it's ok to stick babies brains with scissors prior to cutting them up and vaccuuming them out. Whose violent?

Other than a small handful of individuals who are condemned and reviled for their actions, what evidence do you have that pro-lifers are violent at all? After all, the pro-choicers murder thousands of unborn children every day....talk about violent.

That is not true! YOu hear about Pro-lifers being violent because that is what makes the media. I've been part of the LIfe Chain (a non-violent chain made by pro-lifers) as well have others that I"ve known. Pro-choicers who drive by the chain have spat on us, tried to run us over and called us names for our opinion. THat never makes the news unless someone dies from it.

well, most anti-choice folks aren't really violent. they might stand outside of women's clinics spitting hateful epitaphs at patients as they go in or send threatening letters to doctors who perform abortions or advertise the names of women who have had abortions in the newspaper and on the web and they certainly lobby the government to interfere with the relationship between a doctor and a patient but truly violent anti-choice zealots who post "death warrants" for doctors who perform abortion on the web and who bomb women's health clinics are few.

There are some who claim to be pro-life, then blow up clinics killing people. They don't represent the majority of us.

As for the pro-choicers - murdering millions of babies is pretty violent.
