I just came byu to apologize to you for the lack of intelligent responses from those Christians.

Ill tell you a little secret - when you point out glaring inconsistencies and mistakes in their Bible, they have no intelligent response - so they lash out by giving you crap about your spelling while totally ignoring the point youve made. CLean up that spelling and grammar, and you'll note that all the Christian will simply fail to respond to your question, passing over it like they did not see it...

Sorry fo rthe ignorance!

Genesis was before God gave His 10 Commandments to Moses.
Genesis proves that after the fall of Adam and Eve, God's curse came upon men. Sin has entered our world. But it also was the start of God working and saving us from going to hell when we die.

That's why He gave us His moral laws and if we obey them, we will do His will for our lives, which are things that are good and best for us which are pleasing to God's eyes.

You have to understand the general concept of the Holy Bible--- humans created by God, tempted by the devil and became sinners which made all men generation after generation sinners also. God used a man to give men moral laws to be followed by humans.

As you can see still in this generation, humans are not different from the people of ancient times--- morally ignorant.

People should pray for God's wisdom as they read and study the Bible. That's what He wants for us to achieve--- His Wisdom. The understanding of His Truth.

Sadly, many are called--but few are chosen.

Why would that not acceptable in God's Word. Would you like it to be in street language? This is about real live people on the earth at that time. They were no different than we are today they were sinners just like all people. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Get real. You need to read some of the books in the public school system. There something to complain about. Genesis 38: 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.

Oh gosh that's actually one of my favorite Old Testament scriptures. First you have to remember, God did not command Judah to sleep with Tamar or the other way around, so you can't claim the Bible is unholy because of this, it just means that people within it have been unholy. Everyone has faults and here we see a fault of Judah. This passage is meant to show Judah's unrighteousness because he was selfish and not giving to Tamar what was hers.

When he learned she became pregnant, he ordered her to be burned to death. But when he learned that he was the one who got her pregnant, and that he was ordering death upon someone who was defiled by himself, he declared, "She is more righteous than I" (verse 26). Since he previously ordered her to be burned to death, imagine what he deserves if he isn't as righteous as her! It shows how he was a hypocrite, but most important how he was more than eager to enforce the law against lawbreakers while he himself was engaging in the same sin. It kind of goes hand in hand with the statement "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Condemning someone because of sin is not in our power as "Churstians"; the authority to condemn people rests in God's sovereign judgment alone.

Our Bible is a lot of history. Do you not understand that? Do you not like it because she posed as a prostitute? Do you object that she covered her face? Do your women cover their faces? What are you getting at? You don't like it cause it's in OUR Bible? I think you read the whole Bible.....and learn to love our God Almighty and his Beloved Son....and the Holy Spirit!

Yes because it shows that men and women both make terrible mistakes and yet be children of God. Note how he said that he was worse than her in the end because he had not promised his son to her as was the tradition of the Jews back then.
It is important to remember that we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God.
Also but for the grace of God go I.

Im confused her. Judah slept with his daughter in law, thinking she was a prostitute, and she became pregnant. Is this approprqite for a Holy Book, yes. The Bible isnt ALL about lessons, some of it is a history account.

Do you have any stories that have been passed through the generations in your family? Have you ever tried to translate another language into english? Many times things are mistranslated, & stories change little by little as they're passed down. I try to see the bible as a book of lessons, some things may have been left out/ added over time. Some things may have been translated incorrectly. Don't try to over analyze, just appreciate it for what it is.

Huh? I think it's acceptable to exist in a book of God that fact that women conceived children. God created both so why wouldn't it be in His book?

What's the problem? The Bible talked about a woman conceiving, how is that bad? If you're referring to the fact that the woman who conceived was prostituting herself, then that in itself is sinful, but it isn't being condoned, merely reported. The Bible talks about a lot of things, but it doesn't support all of them.
