My boyfriend told me that I was mom material. What does this mean?

What I mean is when he said I was mom material it made me wonder whether he meant I was someone he could take home to his mom.

It sounds like he was trying to give you a compliment or at least give some insight on positive characteristics that you posess. Maybe he thinks that you are patient, caring, selfless and would be good with children.
From how I see it, it can only be a positive thing from the way it was worded.
Now if he said that you remind him of his mom... that's another story.

This means you can be a good mother. A mom material means that you can do whatever all moms can do. That is a good thing you know. This means, he likes girls that are mom material.

It means that he wants you to be the mother of his child. I mean if he said that you are mom material that means that you are a keeper. That is if he is indeed thinking of going far with you and has children in mind.

Ask him what he means by it. It could be taken numerous ways. for example, it could mean he wants intercourse with you, or you would make a wonderful mom, or maybe he would like to spend the rest of his life with you and have children. You should just ask him what his definition is.

Men look at women the same way as we look at them... when you decide you are ready to marry... aren't you going to pick someone that would be a good father... I wouldn't take it as an insult... maybe he is contemplating his future and just voiced it verbally in... him saying you would be a great mom... don't worry about... hope this helped...

You must know what this means, he is saying basically that he would like to have a child with you, he thinks you are good looking enough to have his child

Depends on your status with him. That could be a couple of things. He thinks you would be good with kids and could see himself having them with you or that you are boring and you need to spice it up.
I find myself saying this over and over though...ASK HIM
