i wonder if this will just go away on its own since i have no idea where it came from and i wonder if i should just call the eye doctor

Broken blood vessel. It's happened to me more than once. Feelsa little sore, but goes away. Visine can help it feel better.

ummm I think will need a little more information, do your wear contacts? If you do it could simply be irritaition from the contacts but if you dont or ewven if you do it could be a ruptured blood vessel in the eye now IM NOT A PHYSICIAN but keep an eye on it (no pun intended ) for a few days and see if the dot gets bigger, darker or if you vision changes at all if any of these things happen you should call your physician or go to an emergency room. Its your eye, you dont want to mess around with it

Could be a stye. See a doctor to be safe!

leave it for a few days if it goes away leave it if it stays then go to the docs or optitions
