What is wrong with our society?

Question

When those who are for abortion talk of us pro-lifers, they call us anti-choice. What is that supposed to mean? It makes us sound like the "bad-guys" when they call themselves pro-choice, and us anti-choice.
HOW can you justify the fact that millions of U.S. babies alone are KILLED because they are an "inconvenience" or "unaffordable" ?They act like they're buying a dog! And BTW, those abortion done because of rape, incest, etc, make up only about 2% of all abortions.
There is no feasible explanation for this great sin of our country.

Those "bundles of cells" are human beings with a soul. When does it become a baby then? The second it is concieved, the "zygote" is a human with a soul. It sound so nice to say that you are "terminating a fetus", but "killing a baby" sounds outright wrong. People say the first so they do not feel guilty about killing a human being. That is against the Bible. "Thout shall not kill." the fifth commandment.

The problem with our society is that we have become politically correct. We no longer put God first, but ebb and flow with public opinion. People want a quick fix - they want instant coffee, fast food, and solutions to their problems right now. Marriage not working - get a divorce - don't try and work on it - that might take too long or take too much work. Pregnant and don't want children, just get rid of it. We have become, as a society, self-centered and lazy.

I also find it very sad that if I stand up and say that abortion is wrong because it is the murder of a human, I am labeled as someone who is either intolerant, stupid or fanatical.

It's very sad.

Think about what the do in China - They actually kill a certain amount of females simply for population control. The way I see it is simple - It's better for a child not to be born rather than born to a broken home, abused and left to feel worthless their entire lives.

It's not exactly killing if it's just an embryo. I think that's fine. But when you're actually killing the baby, that's definitely a different story. But still, all in all you have to remember that if the baby was never actually here to begin with, it's not making that huge of an impact.

The moral of this all is that society isn't going down the tubes. People should simply wear protection, and think before they create life they're willing to destroy.

And, for the record, in the US, never are millions of babies killed. Millions of preganancies might be terminated, but those arent babies. Babies are those live, shyting in diapers things. Zygotes are a simple mass of cells that hasnt developed the ability to be self aware. See, here you are again, trying to shove YOUR definition of when life begins down everyone else throats...

Id alos like to point out that approximately 20% of conceptions end in spontaneous abortion of the fetus, often without the knowledge of the mother. That makes your God the most prolific abortionist on earth.

This "great sin of our country" is probably something you should collect a few more facts on; while everyone (including all 'pro-choice' individiduals) would like to see fewer abortions (it's not a choice, it's a sometimes necessary unpleasantness), the fact is abortion (like prostitution) has always and will always be with us, just these days we have the technology to make it safer for the mother. Those who seek to outlaw legal abortion won't save ANY babies, they will just make them die much less clinical, swift & painless deaths...

Their way is the only splendid way. It's a country where we value freedom, thus it's not in our right to tell someone to have a child or not. It is sad to know many babies die this way, and the best thing to do is to prevent a pregnancy. If a person doesn't want a child simply protect yourself or don't have sex if you can't do so. People have to be well educated in this topic.

"Right" and "Wrong" is obviously all in the eye of the beholder.

I dont really care one way or the other on the abortion issue, but look at it this way: those "millions of U.S. babies" (peanut sized fetus' with no heartbeat or brain activity) would probably end up being liberal and "pro-abortion" and against your cause just like thier parents.

Sorry but the abortions they are talking about are NOT partial birth abortions. They are simply a small bundle of cells. Like a growth. They do NOT constitute a life. Nice try with the word play though.

Have you ever wondered why those that are against abortions are against abortions???... Have you ever seen these people?.. Doesn't it strike you as mildly ironic that the people that are against abortion are the same people that you wouldn't want to F' in the first place!!!?

The thing that is wrong with our country is that we are too far to the right. When NIXON had a platform that is to the right of KERRY'S platform - it's time to rethink things as a nation.

What's wrong is religious bigots like you who want to take away the choice for women to decide what to do with their own bodies.

And if you feel that strongly about it I hope you don't eat eggs, or are you one of those who believes animals are all out to serve us too and killing them is fine.
