Here's the story. My ex boyfriend and I dated for 2 years.. 1 year into our relationship, he went into the Navy. We had our share of problems and adjustments to that and we broke up. It has now been one year since we have given up. We talk a lot through email and he will be home next month for a long time. He told me that we need to sit down and have a talk. I can't assume it would be a "bad" talk because we are already broken up. I want to pour my heart out to him. I want to tell him that I never stopped loving him or thinking about him and that I need him in my life. But is this a good idea? I'm afraid of risking losing him all together....

There is no harder way then to tell him your feelings...but at the same time, there is no better way then that to show him that you really do care and that he means a lot to you. It sounds like you really miss him and want him to be yours again but I only have one warning. If it didnt work b4 because of the distance then are you goin to try something different if he has to go back? Just dont give up and tell him how youu really feel. You might be scared but it could really work out in the end! I hope it works out for you and you two get back together! Good luck!

Meet with him and let him start the conversation and listen. If after listening to him, you feel like it could go somewhere tell him how you feel and what you want out of the relationship.
However before you jump back in, think long and hard. If you broke up once because of problems or adjustments you have to look at whether or not those issues will continue if you start up again. There's no use starting again if the problems aren't dealt with first.

Hey life is a risk--why not be truthful and honest. In doing so, you will freely express you innermost feeling and allow him to determine if you are what he wants and needs. Just say it like, you did right here. Let it out both barrels---if he can't handle the truth--then you're free to move on. Knowing that, you laid it all out for him to deal with. You Go Girl!

Yes it is a good idea to pour your heart out to him. I doubt you would lose him altogether. He may not respond to your outpouring the way you wanted him to right away. You should always be honest with your feelings to people. That way they always know where they stand with you.

well i would let him speak first, see what he has to tell you. then go from there. if he is confessing his prolonged love for you then i would definitely come out and tell him that you feel the same way and see if you two could work out your problems and form a loving relationship once again. best of luck!
