I am against illegal immigration. The reason more than anything else is that I am against people breaking the law. Your scenarios are extreme and will not happen. Honestly speaking here is what you can expect. The Congress will pass the Senate immigration bill creating a guest worker program and legalizing the millions that are here already. Many will not register for the Guest Worker program and will continue to work illegally. Employers will not be forced to abide by the laws now any more than they were after the last amnesty. The people will howl for a few months and then things will die down. There will not be a civil war and more of America's culture will be lost to an influx of people who want to enjoy the benefits of America, but do not want to be American. Need evidence that it is moving this way, just review the statements of the proposed new head of Homeland Security committee who has stated that his first order of business will be to revisit the border fence issue and will probably move to scrap the whole project. As Americans we have a flash point, but we are also easily distracted. Politicians are not interested in the will of the people, in the end the almighty dollar rules and they will side with the money when all is said and done. People should not take my comments as a rebuke of what you believe, but I have been fighting the immigration issue for more than 20 years and have seen time and again the lack of results for what the people desire in this area.

I don't like to think about it but I don't see how it's not going to get to the point of civil war. We've already been threatned and told they were taking over......sounds like fighting words to me and the continued bully tactics and demands aren't softening the hearts of most Americans.
