Christianity is a powerful religion because it has so many members. It is hard to speak out against Christianity not just here, but in all areas of life.
Many Christians believe that this is a Christian country, not a country with religious freedom. I hope that one day we will be able to have true religious freedom, but until that day we must accept that Christianity rules America. But acceptance does not mean that we can not work for change!

I don't notice that they delete questions pertaining Christianity--- but if that is the case, most questions here are about Christianity and questions thrown about it are more like "mocking" questions. There are very few intelligent questions about Christianity I have seen here.
So maybe that's why--- they are "abusive," direct attacks in the form of questions....
that's why they have the "report abuse" feature on each post. Respect begets respect. If people post respectful questions, most likely than not, the questions won't be deleted--- it's just common sense.

Christianity being a very hypocritical religion which has created terms and explanations to try and make their religion seem flawless and superior does not like opposition as it points out its many flaws and misconceptions. Such as the fact that its a pagan religion so they create the trinity, which was also used prior to christianity by the pagans, to explain that jesus and god are the same but different, and the list is endless , even different sects of christianity can not agree on many things. The very fact that jesus was as close to god as they claim, but came to earth and was a jew, we still see it necassary to create a new religion based on him instead of god.If jesus was a jew and as connected to god as they claim you would think he would have been very picky about the religion he followed and practiced while setting his example in our presence. In the past millions of people were killed in the name of christianity, meaninng you had to be christian and not question it or you would be put to death as a heratic. Even the immaculate conception was created by the church and did not exist before a certain date, Pope pius IX on dec 8 1854 and consecrated by Pope Pius XII in 1942, so to question christianity is to doubt christianity and they require that you believe everything that they tell you and that is written in the bible without question. The fact that they delete your questions is not that bad it could be worse remember the spanish inquisition , it was a christian led tribute to heracy.

questions are deleted based on abuse reports issued by other users. if your question is considered hateful or insulting, it is probable that many christians reported the question as abusive and the lords of yahoo agreed that the question violated the terms of use agreement of the site.
just so you know, while Y!A is, in my opinion, overly permissive about what gets posted here, it is not a 100% free speech zone, nor does it have to be.

It may depend on how you ask your question. If you sound condescending in your question then people are going to get offended. Also, keep in mind that religion is a very sensitive topic. People take their beliefs very seriously. And people get defensive when they feel like they are under attack. I suggest you use some tact in you questioning and you shouldn't have a problem.

In all fairness, wouldn't this question get deleted even before a Christianity related one?

Yeah! I notice too.
Can the yahoo answer group answer their actions on this matter?
Sometimes very frustrating in answering, questioning and just be erased after doing these efforts.
You started this activity and should be tolerant and responsible of our efforts too.
You should not be showing your irresponsibilities to the world.
