All those things have a lot of calories. Calories are a unit of energy. Your body will convert most of the stuff in all those foods to sugar, which is stored as fat in the body. You will likely have a burst of energy because it's high in sugar, so no conversion is necessary to be able to use the energy. However, since it's absoorbed so quickly by your body, you experience a sugar crash because it became fat so fast, you couldnt use all the energy. It only affects your metabolism depending on how frequently you eat. The more frequently you eat (not quantity), the faster your metabolism is (generally). That's why it's recommened that people eat 5-6 meals per day.

It depends on your lifestyle. If you do regular exercise then your body will obviously lose more calories than you would if you sat all day watching TV. Fizzy drinks are usually full of sugar which is good for you in moderation, but your body can get sugar from other sources leaving fizzy drinks an unnecessary part of your diet, they also contain large amounts of carbon dioxide (fizz) which tends to bloat you up. Cakes, chocolate and crisps are something you can have as a treat but eating too much has a negative impact on the body. When your feeling hungry don't go for a cake or biscuit as this will not satisfy your hunger for long, carbohydrates such as bread and pasta are the best option because they are digested slowly. You should also attend the gym on a regular basis or at least some form of exercise, this way you can treat yourself more often (unless your trying to lose weight)
