Don't get me wrong. I'm always happy when they're caught. However, for many years the Green River killings and the BTK murders went unsolved until the perpetrators were finally caught some 20 or 30 years later. When they were finally caught, I was disappointed to finally see what they looked like, because they looked so damned NORMAL. But then again, serial killers almost always look NORMAL. It's often called the "mask of sanity", and it's the main reason why they often go undetected. Is there anyone else who understands where I'm coming from?

Excuse me? You don't want to know who is murdering people? And you are disappointed because they look normal? Serial killers like the BTK killer are often the mild mannered church goer who lives next door. Jeffrey Dahmer was quite nice looking. Mental illness cannot be detected by the person's appearance. If it could, these killers could be caught quickly.
