My office mate is always bringing stuff for us for lunch. I usually eat it but today she brought Brunswick stew. I don't like Brunswick stew and am craving a taco. How do I bow out gracefully and not hurt her feelings?

Tell her you really want a taco and ask her if she would like one to go along with her stew.

I can empathize with you. I am not a picky eater but I really do not like Brunswick Stew.

Just say you had plans to go out and are seriously craving a taco! theres nothing wrong with that. To make up for it, suggest that you'll make something for her next week! It won't make her feel brushed off, if you're promising to return the favor.
Good luck!

i might say specific, yet do no longer pass too far out of your way. on account that they're doing actual hard paintings, consistent with threat some fresh beverages and a few tasty snacks could be good. do no longer project approximately serving them an entire meal. if i've got been helping my boss pass, i could be distinctly pleased with this association.

Let her know your not that hungry today. And that you want something light to eat. Or that you need to get out and stretch your legs so you were going to walk to get a taco.

How about bring your own lunch? and let her know you could feed yourself and have a choice eating what you like. Perhaps bring her something too....the ball would be in your court.
