My friend who I liked in the 6th grade (now in 7th) is now going out with a guy in a rival school! I really liked her in the beginning of this year! But... her friends don't exactly aprove of me! (Obviously cheerleaders but she isn't). How do I ask her to see a movie as friends? I really like her too so will that get in the way! Please help ! Before I do something stupid!

At your age, don't worry about it. Ask her to go to the movies with you. Don't say, " just as a friend". Leave that part out because she might believe you and you don't want that. She may say no because of her friends, not because she doesn't want to go with you. It's just that age your at. Most girls will grow out of that as they get older. So if she says no don't give up just wait for a while. If she says yes do some things most guys don't think about doing like open the door for her and don't forget the popcorn. Oh yea. tell her you like her shoes no matter what they look like. Girls like that stuff. Go for it!!!

If it's just as friends why not go in a group with some of your friends as well as hers? If you don't want to do that then it's obviously not 'just as friends' and going after someone elses girlfriend is never a good idea.

Ive never been in that situation but, just go up to her nicely like on a friendly note, when your alone, just act casual (hey, how are you?) just stuff like that I like a conversation friends would have, dont flirt w/ her or anything. then after a couple of minutes just ask her if she want to go to the movies with you as friends. be sure just to tell her you just want to go as friends, therefore she doesnt assume you want to take her on a date....good luck!
