I let my three year old be an independant pottier, but just a few minnutes ago she washed her hands w/that anti-bac/hand gel,and I guess it got in her mouth because she was spitting. She usually uses her "Kandoo kiddie soap",but when I went in there I saw it ,smelled it ,and then the"spitting"...will she be o.k,you think or do you think I should take her to see Doc.

Since she was spitting it out she did not find it to be tasty. More than likely she didn't swallow enough to hurt her. I am sure she is fine.

My two year old son kept rubbing his eyes and crying horribly. I could not for the life of me figure out what was happening, I washed his eyes with water to little avail. A couple days later I found that the stick of deodorant had little scratches on it. He had raked his nails over it and had gotten it into his EYES. Too bad parents cant be mind readers! (He is 18 now)!~

It is toxic is pretty much pure alchol, however she probably didnt "eat" enough of it to do harm. My son and my youngest twin have both done that a few times, and I called the dr and he said unless my little one took the lid off and drank a few mouth fulls then I had nothing to worry about

Look at the bottle of hand sanitizer, and see what it says on it about accidental ingestion. If you don't find any information on it, you can always call the Poison Control Center near you.

Here's a website to look up the center near you:

Is it toxic? Look at the label. I think she'll be o.k or you can call poison control just to feel better.

Take her to her doc. You shouldn't rely on others advice (Lord knows what kind of answers you'll get in here) when it comes to your child, other than your child's pediatrician.
