My boyfriend and I are involved in a long distance relationship. It was his birthday yesterday, and I could not be there. I just found out he went to a strip club last night. I am not uptight or a prude...that part actually doesn't bother me. The part that I'm upset with is that his friend treated him to "a couple" of lap dances.
Watching a nude woman dance is one thing, but her grinding her privates on his lap I have serious problems with...would you?

If I was there...and he paid for me to have one too...then no worries...have at it!
BUT...if you couldn't be there and he had naked women on his lap...I'd be irrate.
You're right...the clubs not the problem... (IF it doesn't offend you PERSONALLY as his gf).... The problem is he should have said no way to the lap dances...
He has some major A** kissing to do...but if you guys really love each other, PLEASE work thru this...And save the splitting up for the larger things...like actual cheating etc.

problems with what has already gone down?what's the point ?it's over and you and he are still together,the world didn't collapse.If this sort of thing bothers you then you and he should discuss it and see how you differ or not on the subject.Why argue with him over something that already happened and some thing that most men want to experience ?If he hasn't cheated and it was just a night out,be a good partner and let him talk about it so you can determine his feelings about it. I personally wouldn't care as long as it wasn't a regular part of his life.I also want to say that long distance love affairs don't usually work any way so maybe it's time the two of you had a serious talk.

I have had two long distance relationships. They both turned out bad. My thought is that long distance relationships are BAD. One guy was engaged to another the same time I was engaged to him and the other was married. I didn't find out until his wife called and let me tell you I had complete faith and trust in him. Goes to show how men are. Yes I would have been pissed off. If you was local that would be a different story. Just watch your heart girl

Would he be mad if a guy gave you a lap dance? Of course he would! I'm not telling you to be mad, but I would be if I was in your situation. Don't go to him pointing fingers or anything. Just try to get him to see it from your point of view. Ask him how he would feel if it had happened to you with another guy. Ask him would that hurt his feelings? Would he consider that cheating, etc? If you blow up at him he will get angry with you and feel as if you didn't trust him. Reason with him, keep your cool, and he will agree with you I'm sure of it!

Men do go to strip clubs and I wouldn't get all upset that a stripper was giving him a lap dance...I mean that is how they get paid. I would blow it off. It's done and I am sure he went right back home to you???

Yep. Eventhough I trust my boyfriend to never cheat on me I consider that a form of cheating. I don't mind him looking at the girls because I would too but as soon as he lets them touch him or he touches them it's over. He is the only man allowed to touch me so I should be the only woman allowed to touch him. No questions about it.

Yeah I would. My man doesn't want me going to strip clubs because he knows how those guys are and I don't want him going to strip clubs because I know how those girls are. He probably wouldn't like you to do that, so why should he.

No it wouldn't bother me. you can look but you can't touch. As long as he doesn't touch her in any way i don't have a problem I'd just give him a better lap dance when he got home.

long distance relationships have to have trust and you seem to be lacking in that area!
it was his friend treating him to a couple of lap dances... it would be different if he had "asked" for it...
