baseboards don't look that great. We want to replace them. Is there a place where you can buy baseboards, already painted white?

Try Home Depot, Loews, and last but not least hardware store.

The ones that are already primed white are made of pieces glued together. It's primer so you have to paint them anyway. Sounds like you didn't prep your old ones good enough. Take a good look, they are made of full pieces of wood. You have to remove them anyway to replace them so I would take them off now, light sanding, prime and paint. see how they look then before you do the replace thing. Use a hammer and a putty knife to get behind them to pry off. The putty knife protects the wall from damage. Pull out any nails from the back side with a pair of adjustable pliers to prevent ripping up the front side.
Do a trial piece, it will only cost the price of paint, which you will need anyway. The trim should come off for the new floor anyway.
