I posted this question yesterday and got amazing ideas. So many in fact that I'm asking for more.
I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan. I'm going home in a few months. When I get there I will have a lot of leave days built up to spend with my girlfriend. (can't wait) I'm looking for a lot of little romantic sweet things to show her how much I truly missed, love and adore her. I have some ideas but...... any help would be greatly appreciated.

got out myself from the military a few years ago: let me tell ya: a woman likes anything that is given straight from the heart. You have already shown courage and strength. Send her a dozen red roses or her favorite flower and a picture of yourself. May sound lam but believe me: any flowers or card would not compare to having you home for Christmas. So the next best thing is either: video e-mail, flowers, card, and a simple" Honey, I love you so very much" would set her to crying those happy tears and she will hold them close to her heart next to you.

aww shes so lucky.
You could start writing love letters saying how much you miss her etc. Keep them all together and give them to her when you get home.
When you get home you could ( and this will be expensive ) go to a florists and order a long stemmed red rose for each day you were away. then have them delivered. so if you were away for 3 months you would order 90 long stemmed red roses and have them delivered.

I would plan a candle light dinner just for you and her. If you are a good cook.... cook the food yourself. Since you haven't seen her in while I after dinner I would just glaze into her eyes and talk.
