You won't see much change in size after 1.5 years, but they will still continue to fill out a little bit until about 2 years old. This is just a general rule for large breed dogs. Each will differ slightly. Keep them on a puppy food until at about 2 years old. Some dogs need to come off it a little sooner because they have weight gain. Puppy food is high in calories for growing pups, so if they stop growing after 1.5 years, sometimes they will gain weight. Just watch your dog and make sure they aren't getting pudgy! Enjoy the puppy years!

By about 8-9 months your dog will have all the height it isgoing to get.
After that your pup will fill out and gain weight and muscle and it's body will change shape slightly.
We consider them to be fully mature at about two years even if mentally they are not fully mature until much lter sometimes.
I had a female who was five before she clamed down and was a normal dog. She was very hyper and very active. Well behaved just very very busy until about 5 then she calmed down and was a great dog.

I believe the dobies are full grown at about 2 years old.Aren't they the most beautiful dog? Your dog is probably getting big ,but he'll still mature.I just love this breed. Very intelligent and protective breed. I wish you all the happiness that I receive from my dobies for many, many years to come.

I have Dobermans - they are wonderful - enjoy her.
They don't mature until about 2 or so. Be careful with jogging with her or allowing her to jump, etc. until her joints are fully formed.
Below is a website of the Doberman Pinscher club of America for more info

i will't answer your question concerning length replace (in spite of the actual shown actuality that I have heard it is the alternative - they develop on extremely than develop into stunted) because i have not in any respect had my adult males castrated at this youthful age. i'd urge you to attend till he's closer 18 months, in the period in-between holding him less than perfect administration so he can't roam around the neighbourhood searching for b itches (hah - not all adult males will attempt this in spite of everything!!). What I have experienced is in case you neuter adult males too youthful, at less than a three hundred and sixty 5 days, they not in any respect get previous the stupid doggy level. Leaving it somewhat helps them a factor of adulthood.

large breed dogs are considered full grown at 1 1/2 or 2 years
they should be fed PUPPY FORMULA FOR LARGE BREED DOGS up to this point - its very important to slow their overall growth down with these dogs and the food is meant to do that
