My dogs are part of my family. They are very clean and you are much more likely to get diseases from people than from dogs.

Dogs are clean if you wash them! Humans can bring diseases too depending on what they come into contact with. People who love their pet watch them closely. Why should a family pet have to stay out in the cold or rain? How would you like that?

Because dogs are pack animals and live in social structures. If someone isn't willing to be a part of that structure, then they shouldn't have a dog.
WHAT DISEASES ARE YOU SPEAKING OF?
Dogs are sentient beings, they are not lawn ornaments.
Maybe you should bathe your dogs. Do you have kids? In my opinion kids are not clean and bring diseases. Do you ever touch them?

Dogs are as clean as you want them to be, esp if they live in the house. If you bathe them they are as clean as you are. My dogs are in the house because I love them and I want them near me. They are a tremendous amount of joy to me. If you're not a dog lover you probably don't understand but they have a special affection for you that you just don't get from people very often if at all.

Why do you even bother to ask the question when you know you won't like any of the answers? You're obviously not an animal person, and lots of us here are. And the cats come in, the dogs come in, a baby possum lived with us for a while too.

Every dog that I have ever had has been an inside dog, you stand a better chance of getting a disease from the bottom of your shoe than you do from a well kept dog. I'll bet money that my dogs bed sheets has been changed since yours has....

Our dogs not only live in the house with us they sleep in our bed with us. I don't think its any kind of life to be tied up to or fence into a yard all day long..They are as much part of my family as my children and grandchildren are..

I would much rather have them in the house with me where we can keep an eye out for each other..

they don't let anything get to me and I don't let anything get to them..
Wouldn't you think twice about entering a home with three rotties sizes 54 - 116 lbs..
Dogs are only dirty if we the owners don't keep them clean, and they well only get diseases if we the owners don't get them vaccined..

I have never caught a disease from a dog. I have caught lots of colds and such from people. Pretty simple really.

Plus, dogs that spend time indoors are more closely in tune to their people. They tend to be better socialized and more responsive.

Um, my dogs are clean. They get regular bathings and we wipe their feet if it's needed when they come inside.

Dogs only bring diseases if their owners are irresponsible and don't get them up to date on their shots annually.

My dogs make less work for me than my kids do. And they love me all the time whether I have a pocket full of money or not. My 2 little Yorkies would go to their death defending me. Can't say the same about my human friends.
