Yes, of course. Some flasks will be better than others though at keeping the coffee hot and tasting fresh. Choose a stainless steel insulated flask and you will be fine.

I used to take coffee in a Thermos flask with me when I went to work and had to leave early. I don't see why people wouldn't do it. A thermos keeps the coffee warm for a long time and it keeps you from having to drink from the communal coffeepot at work. (I prefer perked coffee to drip coffee--stronger, tastier and more to the point!)
Oh yes, and iced coffee is quite a treat if you sweeten it, add cinnamon and cream to it...more for dessert though! (That'd keep nicely in a flask too...)

you can drink anything from a flask,(a flask is for keeping drinks hot/cold) try tomato soup that's nice
