My boyfriend now of 10 months just stopped talking to his ex girlfriend. WE started dating only a month or so after he broke up with her, he left her for me.. since they had no future together. he has always been wonderful, but sooo much more into me it seems since he cut ties with her..... Did he just need to get over her? We just got back together, when i found out they were still speaking behind my back i freaked..... so he cut ties in front of me and moved back... was that just his way of letting go?

everyone needs the "grieving" stage....he took the step to show you he really cares about you and let her go completely. from the sounds of it...he didnt really know how you would feel about them talking and once he found out he corrected things to make you happy....that's a good thing...very good thing.
its possible that even though they broke up they broke up on good terms and thats possibly why they still talked...but i wouldnt question things....he made things right and thats all you need to worry about

It probably was just his way of letting go. After a relationship ends, you have that time where you still have that person on your mind but, the relationship's over. Since you came in right after her, he still needed time to get her out of his life.
It was right for you to get upset that he was talking to her behind your back- its a trust issue when you don't know whats going on. He did the right thing by cutting ties with you there so there's no more guess work on your part. He sounds like he really is into you and not at all interested in getting back with his ex.

I think that is was just his way of letting go. I think that he was just using you. Must guys that do that are just trying to get over that person. The first hit was that he did the same thing to her why would you go out with him in the first place.

A month is a good amount of time to wait. I week or two and he would have been on the rebound.
