I have a VHS "home movie" and I want to burn it to a DVD.
-I have a DVD recorder
-Macbook (with a DVD Burner and imovie + iDVD)
-I don't know what to do put it on the DVD?

You need a device like Dazzle that allows you to connect the audio and video outputs from your VCR to your computer so you can rip the video to MPEG4. Then you need DVD authoring software (not sure if imovie works - don't have a Mac). and a burning program like Nero. Check out Dazzle at any of the major online or brick & mortar stores, like Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. Good luck!

I actually have a DVD participant and a separate PDR. very own digital recorder finding on the placing i'm getting everywhere from 80 to over a hundred hours of recording time. No tapes no disks to save or subject approximately and while its finished i erase what i do no longer choose and easily shop recording.

I never had any luck doing it on the pc. Always had the audio seconds behind the video. But this Panasonic DMR ES40V has a 1-touch dub you can go from tape to dvd or vice-versa.
