Classic Club Sandwich

12 slices white bread
3/4 cup mayonnaise
8 romaine lettuce leaves
16 slices vine-ripened tomatoes
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
16 slices crispy cooked bacon
16 ounces sliced roasted turkey
16 frill picks, or plastic cocktail swords
Serving suggestions:
Potato chips
Sweet Pickles

Toast the bread in a toaster, or under a broiler on both sides. Cut the lettuce leaves in half crosswise and form into 8 neat stacks.
To make a double-decker club: On a clean work surface, arrange 3 bread slices in a row. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise over 1 side of each bread slice. Place a lettuce stack on top of the first bread slice, top with 2 tomato slices, and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Place 2 slices bacon over the tomatoes (broken to fit neatly if necessary) and top with 1/8 of the turkey (without letting any hang over the sides). Season the turkey with salt and pepper, to taste. Repeat with the second bread slice. Carefully place the second layered bread slice on top of the first layered bread, turkey side-up. Cover with the third bread slice, mayonnaise side-down.
Pin the sandwich's layers together by piercing them with 4 frill picks or cocktail swords through the top bread slice, in 4 places in a diamond-like pattern, all the way to the bottom bread slice. Repeat entire process with the remaining ingredients to form 3 more sandwiches.
Using a serrated knife cut each sandwich, diagonally, into 4 triangular pieces (each piece should be secured in the center with a pick or sword). Serve with potato chips and pickles.

I have this awsome recipe that is better than any club sandwhich!!!! Makes 24 small sandwhiches

2 pkgs. Pepperidge Farm dinner rolls
2 sticks butter (I use I Can't Believe INB)
2 TBPS. Worcheshire sauce
2 TBSP. Mustard
4 TBSP. brown sugar
2 TBSP. sesame seeds (optional-for looks only)
I like to increase these measurements by half...
3 butter, 3 w. sauce, 3 mustard, 6 brown sugar.

24 slices Imported ham - thinly sliced
12 slices Swiss cheese- cut in half, then
doubled each half over to fit roll.

Prepare mini sandwhiches using rolls, ham & cheese. Place in baking pan. Melt butter, add Worcheshire, mustard, brown sugar and seeds. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Pour mixture over rolls and set aside for at least 2 hours then bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts ( about 10 minutes)

You will love them!!!! You can even make the sanwhiches the day before and store in freezer bags then put in refrigerator until you are ready to make the sauce.

well for a good club sandwich you should buy a loaf of bread any kind you want then you should buy what ever kind of meat you would like on you sandwich.I pearsonly like some turkey ham tomatoes lettuce and some cheese and bacon ....yum!!!!
once you have done your shopping for all your meats bread cheeses then you are ready to cook.first cut open your loaf of bread then stack your meats and cheese any way you want then you close your bread and cut it into strips about 2 1/2 -3 inches wide. now thats how to make a home made club sandwich with a great taste low prices and you will have left over for another time or invite the family over a share the sandwich with them!

I've eaten quite a few clubs in my time, and here in California, I've NEVER seen cheese on a club........I was always under the assumption that a club is a triple decker sandwich composed of ham, turkey, bacon strips, lettuce and tomatoes stacked as a triple decker......I like mine on light toasted sourdough and lots of mayo........or, here's one that I had published in a magazine, kinda funny story behind the name, but they're called BLOAT's, a rendition of the classic BLT, only it's Bacon, Lettuce, Onion, Avocado and Tomato........Messy, but YUM!!

attempt this, it is actual person-friendly; you like tortillas, eggs, cheese, salsa, cooking spray (like Pam) and canned ham. you in addition to mght want a microwave for this. (in case you do in comparison to Mexican bypass away out the salsa). First placed the salsa in a strainer to eliminate the liquid. whilst it is draining, decrease up your products of ham into little cube. you are able to the two use sliced or shredded cheese for this. right here's a thank you to scramble eggs in case you don't be attentive to how....warmth up a frying pan on the range, i'd warmth the burner to no greater than medium to keep away from burning. Spray the interior the pan first. whilst it starts off to soften, destroy your egg(s) right into a small cup or bowl and stir with a fork till it is all yellow and mixed...or, combination in a blender. upload salt and pepper to style in case you like. Pour into the pan, and upload your drained salsa if using, cheese, and ham cube. (you may additionally use sausage in case you be attentive to a thank you to prepare dinner it and fall down it up). whilst it is all cooked, placed on a tortilla, wrap it up, and you have a breakfast burrito! (Or, a wrap, in case you do no longer do Mexican!)

(TURKEY CLUB).3 PIECES OF TOAST ,1ST LAYER- 3 PIECES OF FRIED BACON , 2-3 SLICES OF TOMATO, LEAF OF LETTUCE,PUT 2ND PIECE OF TOAST ON TOP OF THIS BUTTERED SIDE DOWN, 2ND LAYER- SLICED TURKEY OR CHICKEN, LEAF OF LETTUCE, PUT MAYO ON THIRD PIECE OF TOAST. CUT DIAGONALLY ONE WAY THEN CUT IT AGAIN DIAGONALLY THE OTHER SIDE OF SANDWICH, THIS WILL GIVE YOU 4 PIECES . IT IS SOMETIME EASER TO SECURE TOAST WITH TOOTH PICKS AND ALSO EASER TO EAT.
