How can I get rid of the odor FAST?!?!?!? I have two small children and I can't have this happening again. I'm leaving on a 6 week trip in a few days, so I either need to get rid of the odor to prevent it from happening again or I will have to get rid of the cats altogether. Can they be trusted for 6 weeks on their own? I'm so frustrated right now I can't see straight, help please!!!

Both cats are spayed, so it's not spraying. Their litter is clean. I have someone to come clean their litter, give them food and fresh water. But I do those things on a daily basis and one of them still did this! I can't believe they did this to me!!!

you can go to a pet store and get oder be gone and it is supposed to prevent it from going in the same spot

You're going to leave your cats alone for 6 weeks? Cats are more social than that. They need to have someone there for several hours a day.
Peeing outside the box is a fact of life with males, even neutered. We managed it by never letting our male cat in areas of the house that made him feel territorial. He lived for 17 years like that. When I was a child I had a male cat but he was the only one in the house, so he never sprayed.
For females, it means the cat is sick or having psychological problems. Not having their box scooped every day is a psychological problem.

Are your cats fixed? That sounds like spraying to me.
You're going to have to have someone come over daily to feed them and scoop the litter box or they will stop using it.

nature's miracle. also get your cat to the vet she may be trying to tell you she has a urinary tract infection.
