Wax beans are really hard to find in Ohio year round unless you buy them canned. They are found next to the green beans. The only store that i know that carries wax beans in ohio is Walmarts

Although yellow wax beans are usually available year round, their peak season tends to run July to late September. If you can't find them at a supermarket during these months, check with your local famers' market.

Wax beans are available canned. In the same section as you would find canned green beans, canned kidney beans, etc. Wax beans look like green beans, only they're a golden yellow color.

The best place to buy yellow wax beans is at a farmers market.

Been to six supermarket chains as well as target and Walmart and they are nowhere to be found in either fresh frozen or canned.

i cant even find them canned: not in walmart, hannaford's, or shaws.,..its as if they have been removed from the shelves for good...
