It's fairly safe but of course as with anything there is always a risk.
I also have problems with my ankle so did my jump in a body harness rather then being tied from the ankles. All good companies should be able to give you that option.

There may be some weight restrictions. Usually a bungy is done head first and the elastic rope is attached around your shin area rather than your ankles. Some people jump using a harness, and therefore jump feet first (this is considered more dangerous due to the elastic rope slapping in your face).
Also you probably have to have no heart conditions, or medical conditions which might prevent you from jumping (for example anxiety panic attacks or high blood pressure).
However, ultimately if you participate in adrenalin sports you get to understand the risks yourself first. Then you decide whether the risk is appropriate to your own condition. You know yourself best!

I wouldn't do it based on the problems with your ankle. They will most likely have you sign a waiver stating that they are not responsible for anything that might happen. It is safe for the most part. There is usually an inflatable bag that you would land on if the bungee strap were to break.

I think you have to be below 16st. Your best to get a medical first if you have ankle probs. I've done bungee jumping and its ace (not as good as skydiving tho!). It will be hard to find a charity that will sponser you because it is a dangerous sport. But that don't stop you raising money and sending them a chq. Enjoy you will love it!!! x

Very safe. Not even half of the jumpers die or get injured.
