Okay, myself and a female friend of mine are assigned to go to a concert (not the fun kind) as an assignment for a music apprec. class. We were gonna go tonite, but she had to cancel b/c a friend of her family's died. That's the bad news. The good news is that we're gonna reschedule. I looked at when we're both free and it looks like it's gonna be monday night, though she wont know that until I see her on Friday. I was also going to ask her if she wanted to get something to eat b4hand but didnt get the chance b/c she canceled. How should I ask her if she wants to: A)Go to the concert together on Monday?
B)Get something to eat before we go?
By the way, this girl is gorgeous and probably doesnt know that I sorta like her. Please help me out. Thanks!

just go ahead, don't be shy, although i may add, you might want to consider that, she has gone through a rough patch in her life with the death of a friend of the family, so have patience and sooner or later you will be happier than ever. :)

Well assuming that you are at a place where frequent, easy conversation is not out of the norm, you could mention how you won't have an opportunity to go until Monday and even that's cramming with your busy schedule. In fact your sooo busy you'll have to grab a bite of dinner on the way and you'd be glad to pick-up the tab as an apology for asking her to conform to your hectic timetable. Just take it for granted that your field trip / date was just rescheduled and not canceled. Good luck.

How bout both. Go with her to the concert on Monday and then ask her if she wants to get a bite to eat afterwards. That will give you time to talk about the concert and get to know her better. Hope this helps.

My guy friend was in the same situation. Things got better when he told me that he had a crush on me for the past 5 years. And asking her out to get a bite to eat isn't hard. Just keep in your mind that she's your friend! Personally, things between my guy friend & I got much stronger after he told me. So, someday...U NEED TO TELL HER THE TRUTH!
