I had an appointment that I missed (acutally he was a counselor). I'm not planning to go back to him. I don't recall signing anything agreeing for non-show fee, but, I might have. They sent me a bill for $50. Should I even try negotiating?

You can ask, but if you're not going back to him, he probably won't be too sympathetic. But for $50, he probably won't come after you too hard either. It wouldn't be worth the time or effort.
Doctors get stiffed all the time. I don't think they make a habit out of trying to enforce the 'no-show' charge. Usually, they send one or two bills, then forget it.
Bottom line, either ask him to mail you a copy of the agreement you signed (if you don't remember doing it), and if you did sign it, then do what your conscious says is right. OR forget about it.

A lot of offices have a no-show fee nowadays. You could give it a try if they never told you there was one.
