Phew - calm down a bit!!
I thought the whole thing about Northern Ireland was that a majority didn't want to rejoin Eire?? I've no idea about IRA Vs UDV(?) Vs British Army kill ratios, but at least the British don't go around knee capping people...
I don't think we put Saddam in power, although I believe it was Churchill who created the country (pls correct if I'm wrong). Africa is suffering due to poor leaders, which are now being supported by China (in exchange for raw materials) - At least the West has 'tried' to tie aid with good governance, but China has a policy of saying nothing as long as it gets its raw materials... Africa was split between all the major European powers - Dutch French, Germany etc in the colonial days.
Asia is doing just fine and China seems happy enough. If you're thinking China at the turn of the century, then again that was all the major WORLD powers. Are you seriously blaming the British for todays social inequalities in China's rural heartlands? Britain gave India the rail roads, the bureacracy, and democracy. Burma had a democracy but now has a military junta - not supported by the British government. Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos were all under French colonial rule. Philippines - America. Thailand never under Colonial rule??
The CommonWealth wouldn't still exist if there wasn't some kind of interest in keeping in contact with Britain.
Britain kicked off the Industrial Revolution which founded the Victorian British Empire - built on its own industrialists, but yes being fed by imports from all around the world.
Britian may not be 'so great' these days, but its a bit harsh to blame us for all the worlds evils!

OK so who all say british is great kick all the other people out? The voices in your head? So maybe its not that great but if you went to england you'd see that most people are pretty much the least patriotic bunch you could imagine. And as far as most of them are concerned you can have northern ireland. No one really wants it- they just want the problems to stop. Also there's very little choice with government- the problem with that has developed over a very long time and all parties have similar foreign policies.

Fair, Honest, and Just are a few of the words that belong to English. Britain is great because its official language is so flexible and is used by all different sorts of people. If the country wasn't great one would not be using the language. The countryside is great, the history of the industrial revolution (also linked to Britain), Engineering history and georgian architecture. The British way of life as I define it is great, of course there are bad things but Britain is still great. We have the largest financial centre in the world, in terms of forex. Please define what you mean by china suffering? In what way is a booming employment market and red hot gross domestic product growth figures suffering?

Great Britain is class,free speech,democracy,good nightlife,great
beer, countryside, history, cant say I'm happy with the Iraq war or
other policies this labour gov has made. But that is down to things
out of my control(I didn't vote labour)as for the terror thing and our
army killing people.your blaming Britain, well blame the people in
power not the British people. And I'm also happy you have Ireland
back.people always ***** about England's past. The past cannot be changed so it will always be a good start for people who
want to rip into our country.is your past so squeaky clean i don't
think so.

Whats so great about Britain You don't come from it or live in it.
The history lesson you give is dubious, and with respect just that history. Our generation cannot change that, can you ? At lest we try to do something for other people now, how much aid do you or yours give by comparison.

Unconciously everyone is jumping ship from their own land.
Were at loss and blindly searching for our creator's universal gifts of life in Uk.
At loss the gifts of life was lost with time after independence in planet of apes.
At loss all over the world the gifts of life was blindly thrown out by all the men who would be king in planet of apes.
The blunders and slip-ups with human errors created back in the past were expose with time in planet of apes.
