Caller ID doesn't have a clock, but your phone does. If the time someone called is of no interest to you, there is no particular reason why you should change it. (I quit setting the time because every time the power goes out, so does the time.)

Its very Purpose is to find what is the No of the call and at what time if it is not updated the basic purpose itself failed there
