There is nothing wrong with wanting to save yourself for the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with.
Ignore the criticism you have the right to choose what you want with your body. Being a virgin does not make you any less of a person in fact you are the opposite you are a strong person with strong morals and I do have to applaud you for that.

Stop listening to the Pagans of the world!
The Devil is always out there trying to induce everyone into everything and peer pressure is the biggest reason for people who start smoking, drinking, stealing and doing drugs.
Let your friends jump off the cliff, that way you can call 911 to send an ambulance for anyone left alive and in pain.

People who criticize you must not be aware that the law of chastity is an actual commandment of God. That is, you should have no physical relations with anyone other than your spouse you are married to. This is an amazing law that if lived properly, would increase the level of respect, patience, and inspiration in the world. It would promote patience, service, and goal-oriented behavior rather than self-gratification. It would virtually eliminate STDs and all kinds of social problems. I would say, stick to your decision, because there are all kinds of hidden blessings associated with living the law of chastity, as well as obvious blessings as well. Have a happy day, and I send you three gummy bears.

There's nothing technically "wrong" with it, if it's something you want to do. It's your choice, and only you can decide when you're ready, and who you want to be with your first time.
However, do it for personal reasons and not because that ridiculous book says so.
A logical aspect .... what happens if you save it for marriage, only to discover that you and your husband are completely incompatible in bed? Not all things can be taught, and contrary to some points of view, compatibility between the sheets IS very important to a good relationship.

Nothing wrong. In fact, I'm saving myself too. And believe me, I know the pressures. You're told that you'll be respected in the morning, that everyone is doing it. We see it all the time. HOw many teen shows have someone having sex? How many of the "family" shows (ones dealing with a family as the main characters) have sex? There is always someone lossing their virginity, and we're shown that it's ok.
I say, anyone who can wait until marriage deserves a medal for our society is against them. To stick to your moral guns is getting harder and harder. Good for you!

it's not the marriage itself... you know that males will not thank you for having kept you for themselves... they will just think that you were too boring to arouse anyone.... But if you don't feel like sleeping with just anyone...if you are waiting for someone one who really makes you feel like doing it -marriage or not marriage- it does not mean you're wrong... just because everyone else is doing it does not mean you too have to do it...There are people who would do it with a dog just not to be labeled as "old-fashioned". Wait!... it's worthwhile.

There is nothing wrong with that, it takes alot of willpower to save yourself, however, I think most of us in this day and age prefer to test drive the car before we buy it. If anyone is telling you that you are wrong, they are not the right person for YOU. (they are probably just trying to get in your pants) These are YOUR morals, I'm sure there are other people out there who will respect those morals and love you for it.

Its not wrong to save yourself for marriage. In our society today, with all the std's and no matter who you lay with today, you no longer just lay with your chosen mate, but with everyone else that they were with before you. To find a virgin mate today is quite hard, but not impossible. God will lead you to your proper life mate and spouce. You shall be blessed by God.
