christanity and islam both originate from jewism. the difference is that jews accept only the old testament, while christians and muslims accept the new testament too. christians believe the christ is the son of god, muslims believe he is a prophet but not son of god, and jews that he is just an ordinary human, not a prophet nor a son of god

Muslims trace their lineage back to Abraham's oldest son Ishmael while the Jews trace their lineage to Abraham's son Isaac. Each believes that God set up a covenant with their ancestor (Isaac or Ishmael). Christianity is in a way a branch of Judaism because its earliest followers were Jews (John, Mark, Matthew, James, Peter, Bartholomew, Paul, etc) and of course Jesus was a Jew. Christianity revolves around the belief that Jesus was the Anointed Messiah promised in the Hebrew Bible. Most Muslims hold Jesus in extreme importance, but believes that Muhammad, born several hundred years after Jesus, was the final and greatest Prophet. Orthodox Judaism rejects Christianity and Islam; Christianity rejects Islam, but accepts the Hebrew Bible though they consider much of it is fulfilled and thus irrelevant and unbinding. Islam in a way accepts both Judaism and Christianity, but thinks both of their scriptures have been re-written and changed and that they have "strayed" away from the true God, and believes several things in both Bibles were false, for instance they believe Ishmael, and not Isaac, was nearly sacrificed to God on the altar, and they believe Jesus did not die on the cross.

All major religions come from the same Source. Some people call that Source God, others Allah, still others Jehovah, Creator, etc. A rose by any other name is still a rose. For the sake of brevity, I will use the term God. God, in all His revelations to mankind, has promised to never leave humanity alone ... without guidance. If we look at religious history as a whole we find that He reveals new teachings and guidance via Manifestations of Himself every 500 - 1000 years. Moses revealed the Word of God for humanity in ABOUT 500 B.C.. 500 years later Jesus Christ brought a new revelation which revived the spiritual teachings of Moses (and all the other Manifestations of God before Him), but changed the social laws according to the needs of humanity in that age. In the year 1264 A.D. God once again Manifested Himself in the person of Mohammed. Mohammed did the same as the previous Manifestations ~ He reawakened the spiritual teachings of Jesus Christ (and the previous Messengers), but changed some of the social laws to aide and assist humanity in that age. In 1844 God sent two Manifestions of Himself (two trumpet blasts): The Bab and Baha'u'llah. And They did exactly the same as the Messengers before Them: regenerate the spiritual teachings of the previous Manifestions of God, but change the social laws to meet the needs of an ever-advancing civilization.

In the eyes of God, all of these religions (and more) constitute one religion: The Religion of God. Any divisions between them are man-made and not pleasing to the Creator of them all ~ God. It's like siblings fighting over whose parents are true or the best ... illogical since they all have the same parents.

First there were the jews. They expect the Messiah (and still do)
Christians believe Jesus to be the Messiah, and follow him as Son of God. Muslims also see Jesus as one of the 4 great prophets, but not as Divine. They believe Mohammed is the prophet to whom God dictated the Koran, and he has the final word.
The holy scriptures of the jews form the first books of the bible, and the Koran contains a lot about Jesus and Mary

Judaism is the Old testament of Christianity. In THe old testmanet we were told the Jesus would come as an atonment to save us from etrnal hell. Then when Jesus came & when people belived He is the messiah many beleived. Still many Jews are waiting for the Messiah not beliueving that He alreday came. As for Islam, there is nothing whatsoever that is related to any of eth above, Except that their prophet acknowledged the authenticity of these epistles.

Salam!

Christianity, Judaism and Islam are related from Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim). Prophet Ibrahim had 2 sons, Ishmaeel and Isaac. From Isaac came the jews and the christians (i think) and Muslims came from Prophet Ishameel.

They all had one belief---to believe and worship in One God but now the beliefs of christians and jews have changed and so have their books.

The simple difference is that muslims consider Jesus as a massenger and they consider him as son of god. We the muslim have great respet towards Moses and Jesus too, but the jews and christians and do not respect Mohammad.

We cannot say relation among the three we can say the differences among the three.

They all believe in one God and that God is the God of Abraham, however that is were the simelarities end, Christians and muslims believe that Jesus is the messiah, but Christians believe He is the Son of God (and through Him we are adopted into the Holy family of God), the Jews and the muslims do not believe that God does not have a Son, but the Jews believe that they are the children of God. Also Christians believe in the Trinity, one God, but in three persons. There are other simaleraties, however there are much more diffrences.

Judaism was first,Christianity (To Us) is the fulfillment of the old Judaic prophecies. It's like we all took flying lessons,we get to the part where we are in the flight simulator,we pass that ,now it's time to get in the airplane and fly.The Jews say ,"No,we're quite comfortable in the simulator, that plane will never get off the ground!"
We get in the airplane and fly away.
Meanwhile the Muslims are on the tarmac with wood, hammer and nails, trying to build a jet....they can't, so they get mad and try to shoot us out of the air and blow up the flight simulators.
Dumb example ,but it works.

The split of our religions happens back with Abraham and his sons, if memory serves. You can find the Christian version in the Old Testament of the Bible.
