Not o be to blunt but he has someone else and he wants some time to play. And you shouldnt have to deal with that. If he loves you and he wants to be with you then there is no need for a break. Thats an excuse men use to have a little freedom, the miss the freedom of seeing and dating whoever they want when they want so they tell you lets take a break. Because if there is nothing wrong in your relationship and you two are not always arguing and breaking up then there is no need for a break. Honey be careful and dont go putting your life on hold for no one. Trust me he is not going to be putting his life on hold for you. You need to move on, I know its hard to do but you let him know that if he wants a break then hey he has lost you. and if he doesnt change his mind he doesnt care for you. You can find you someone better than that, someone who will be there for you no matter what. There is no such thing as breaks when you're in love. If he love you he will stay with you and put all this childish sh** behind but if he doesnt then you know that he really didnt care for you. I mean he cares but he still have his things in his life that he want to do. But the choice is totally up to you, if in your heart you want to wait for him and you trust that it nothing more than space you go for it. But you have to be careful, you can get hurt.

I don't know the context of your relationship but I know that my now ex-husband pulled that crap with me and it was because he still was pretty much keeping me on the backburner so I was still around at his convienence but also so he could play the field and enjoy the single life again. He cheated on me and then is the one telling me that he still loves me, blah, blah, blah but he "needs time to get his head clear"...It's such a load of bs and if this came out of nowhere, I would proceed with caution. Perhaps things are just moving a lil too fast for him but you also don't want to be pining away for someone and wasting your time, if their real intentions are no good for you or what is left of your relationship. What is he clearing his head from? When I asked that question, he just kept bs-ing and saying that he just had a lot on his mind but never gave me any real reasoning so be careful for that too. If you are both in the relationship, it is fine for him to want his time to 'clear his head' but I also think that you have every right to know what is going on with him and why it is impeding on your relationship. Good luck and just be careful with this situation...

I don't think this is a good sign. My last gf of 5 years (we lived together) left me in April saying the same thing, hasn't been back since, but she doesn't want to break everything off. She still has my cell phone and keeps the car insurance in my name (she pays for both) and wont get all of her stuff out of the house.

She is a nurse and went traveling, as in traveling nurse and wanted to check out other places, plus we had a fight about our relationship.

I'm not to optimistic about the whole thing and I'm gonna call her friend to come get her things or I'm taking them to the thrift store. The phone and insurance situation is ok because she pays for all the phones and all insurance.

But for all intensive purposes our relationship is over and I'm dating again.

I would drop him like a hot lava rock. Sounds like he want to mess around with somebody else.

However keep in mind sometime couple need a break from eachother, but that does't mean go away and not see eachother for a while. It can simply mean take a day to do something they want to for themselve such as go shopping, go visit a friend/family, or something like that.

From what you describe, it sounds like like the first part of this answer instead of latter.

sounds to me like he's not sure if he still wants to be with you. a piece of him does and the comfortably is there which is why he's still telling you he loves you and is kissing you and stuff but from past experience he's taking the break cause he's out there looking to see if something better is out there or there is someone that he wants to try things with. he's keeping you close though cause if he finds someone and it doesn't work out he figures that if he has you close still then he can come back to you and you will take him back. be very careful.

He wants to date other people. BUT, he doesn't want you to. That's why he is keeping you on a string while he is "on a break". So, if you guys are on a break you can go out with other guys. It will only take once, and I gaurantee the break will be over.

hear...if he says he needs to interrupt up, say ok. everyone that would desire to declare they loathe being around you while they're in a relationship is a very chilly hearted individual who you do no longer choose or choose. i comprehend it relatively is frightening in spite of the undeniable fact that it relatively is going to additionally be relaxing once you discover that nicer individual! overlook approximately him. permit him do what he is going to do. asserting something like what he suggested is him desirous to abuse you. shop your dignity, do no longer permit him take that from you.

In real relationships you don't take breaks. Forget about him and find someone else who knows what he wants.

He just wants to screw around on you. If he can't clear his head while he's with you than there isn't any future for the realationship anyway. Tell him to hit the road.
