Theres this guy i like and we have so much in common but the trouble is when i talk to him the conversations arent always flowing and i just end up babbling out crap. I think he likes me back but i feel so awkward,nervous, uncomfortable round him as i dont know how to be myself. Im fine round guys i like i can talk to them bout anything. So any advice on how to combat this would be appreciated. Is it a bad sign for me and him to feel awkward round one another

Just be yourself...and when you get to feeling "silly" or "flustered" about the conversation then smile at the guy and flirt. Tell him just being around him makes you feel like a silly school girl again. It will take the edge off and it will open up opportunities for more conversation. Guys like it when they think they are in control. However after 38 years of marriage I learned that not once was I ever in control!!!!!!

I was exactly like that with my bf, I talked utter crap and about anything and everything because he made me 'nervous'. I find its normal to feel like that, especially when you really like someone and like spending time with them and just 'being' with them...Im sure he isnt fazed by it, most men generally think its cute, and if he likes you that much in return, he'll love you for it and count it as part of your 'charm'!!! If your really worried, just find out what kind of stuff he's into and ask him questions about it, once you start to listen about stuff he enjoys you'll find your more open to being relaxed with him, he'll be flowing telling you about it and you'll (without realising usually) be looking into his eyes and the nerves will melt away!

I don't think its a bad sign, you just like him, and it makes you nervous to be around him, in case you say something silly or something that he might perceive as boring.....just relax.....if you have so much in common with him, find something about that to talk to him about....just take it easy and don't try too hard!
