Most of it is from cars & trucks , In the engine chamber the temperature is so high it causes the burning of nitrogen which becomes NO2 which the sun light changes to what is called ozone but it is not. NO2 is actually a furtilizer and is easily washed out of the air. we see a lot of tree damadge but the problem is just too much furtelizer and not enough water. It should not be so bad as lightning makes a few hundres LB. with each strike but mother nature then washes it out of the air.
