2/3s of a STICK of butter would be 2 and 2/3s tablespoon but if you misspelled and ment two thirds of a cup of butter. a cup of butter is two sticks so that would be 5 1/3 tablespoons. I hope this helped.

hi there ...according to a cook book i have it say as follows>>3 teaspoons=1 tablespoon>>4 tablespoons=1/4 cup>>5 1/3 tablespoons=1/3 cup>>8 tablespoons =1/2 cup>>10 2/3 tablespoons =2/3 cup>>12 tablespoons=3/4 cup>>>16 tablespoons= 1 cup>>the butter you buy solid say on the side the amounts and just cut with a sharp knife...i hope that this will help you...

you should use around 5 and a half tablespoons if you cant get 2/3 of a stick

it would probably be fine.
Most times a littel extra butter is not a bad thing! there's just not that much difference in 2/3 and 3/4 of a stick
