How short sighted and generic do you want these answers to be?
Traditionally women have been the ones using men for personal gain, wealth and status. I guess you're talking about sex though right?
As a guy (and someone's boyfriend) I have, in the past, had a few friends with benefits but have never misled a girl to believe that there was more to a relationship if there wasn't.
I'm not saying that it doesn't happen (at either end of the spectrum) but without giving more specific information you're not going to generate a particularly appropriate response.

why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? if they know that they can get some from you when they want it and that they just have to give you some attention sometimes then why shouldn't they. it sucks but that's how alot of the guys lately are. you need to drop them and find good guys. ones that care about you and make sure that you know it. trust me i went through the is he using me and he was and i dropped him and got me a good one. one that i wouldn't ever give up for anything and that loves me as much as i love him.
