It was a really funny speech one year when Charles and Di were arguing, and she said that, in the words of one of her favorite correspondents,Horace or Pliney the Elder (!!! Who knew she was that old?) ... It was an "anus horribilus" a horrible a**, though one might assume she meant an annus horribilus. Can anyone name that year?

You've already got the right answer - 1992.
It could also have been any of the following
1948 (Charles was born)
1950 (Anne was born)
1960 (Andrew was born)
1964 (Edward was born)
Or any year between 1947 and the present - (that's when she married the king of witty and diplomatic repartee)
