My hair is pin straight too. Maybe if you put some mousse in it and comb it through you could then twirl it around your finger tight and gently take you finger out the twirled hair. Do this all around your head. You could try and dry it somewhat with a dryer/defuser. Good luck, it is worth a try. Maybe you could ask a hair dresser what type of product would be best for doing this...

It won't be wavy but it won't be as straight as when you would comb it. Try twisting it and wraping a towel around your head. It takes a long time to dry this way (use a thin towel). Or you can try twisting your hair and putting it in claw clips, however many you need, or a few braids, or just curl with a curling iron.

No! by no ability brush your dry curly hair. wavy hair specific. in case you will brush ur curls on a dry or moist hair, you will injury them, and you will unfastened hair from the roots. do no longer pay attention to people telling you what to do, pay attention on your scalp. i understand and you already know, it hurts plenty once you sweep them; and you notice how hair breaks, it makes noises like *tkp! in any case you're able to brush your hair distinctly once you have curls, by way of fact once you unfastened hair it shares on your curls and maximum of them stay there, and its no longer obtainable to take them out purely with your hands. Shampoo your hair, after that use conditioner for curly hair, its extra slippery than general conditioner and slowly brush your hair and separate curls with extensive tooth comb purely! by no ability use general brushes it is going to destroy your hair. wont get you formidable of direction, yet you've short hair separated from curls and it doesnt seem healthful and great.

don't think so, but if you take some butterfly clips and scrunch your hair up inside them then let it dry, it should come out wavy, you could apply some gel first.

No....you should towel dry it...add some mouse, and scrunch it in your hands. Blow dry it just a little too add some body to where you like it, then use a little hairspray.

Give that a try....hope it works!!
