if they dont see intelligent Muslims all over the world then they must definitely be blind.

I think it must help , but I cannot judge, like I cannot tell yes or no.
I imagine it will at least make a balance, while CNN , BBC & others broadcast news from one point of view I think Al Jazeera is going to broadcast the news from a different angle, the best beneficiary after all is the people (audience) ... I hope the western world realizes that western media is not always the reliable source, as a matter of fact they distort facts to serve certain political objectives, I hope Al Jazeera can show western world the reality

Many believe (at least I do) that the 21st century is the time of glory for Muslims. But I believe that through definition of Islam (total obedience to God) good people no matter their faith will be called Muslims. Therefore we'll witness (God will) a great encounter between good and bad, light and darkness. One TV channel may not be having a great influence on how the outside world sees Muslims in a world of media dominated with porn and bias but it has a mission as destined. Not more, not less.
