There is nothing illegal in having a relationship whatever your age is. Though it is illegal to marry if a your age is less than 18 in most countries. If your age is less than 18, you may marry if you have the consent of your parents.

You know, at your age 4 years is a huge gap in maturity. I don't know the laws in your state but it sounds like a bad idea.
Here's a question - do your parents know about this relationship? If you are sneaking around that is a very bad sign. If they know the guy and approve maybe they know something that strangers on the internet can't about the relationship's chances.
No matter what, if your parents don't know it is high time you told them. The NEED to know.

Been in that situation. First, it's not illegal. However, and this is probably going to fall on deaf ears, but chances are, your relationship will have many, many issues. He's heading into the adult stage of his life, while you're still in the child stage. You're at different maturity levels, and I'm sorry to say, but this relationship is doomed to fail unless he's willing to delay his maturity, or you're willing to give up your childhood.

You can also do a google search for information, there are sites out there that this is all they do, have legal age of consent information for everywhere around the world, including all 50 states...

I'm seventeen and my boyfriend is twenty five and I absolutley adore him, I couldn't wish for a nicer guy and we've been together just over a year...it's not illegal here though..but I don't think it's wrong!
