Actually, yes. In mans eyes it may be frowned upon, especially if they do not recognized that she is adopted. In Gods eyes I do not believe it is wrong as long as it is love. And that it is mutual. I think you ought to make sure of your feelings and her feelings. We can all to often act on lust, infatuation and on impulse rather than true feelings of love. I was fifty years old and divorced several times before I found true love. Now, what is true love. Well, I knew that I was marrying for all the wrong reasons each time I got married. I am a giver, a care taker. I always found someone who needed to be taken care of, who needed to receive. They just plain needed. Problem is they did not give. Understand that I do not mean give sexually, although sex is important in a relationship. They did not work in building or maintaining the relationship. I wound up being the one doing all the work. A couple of time doing All the work. Ultimately, I became unhappy and discontented and found myself not wanting, needing, liking or loving these people at all. Now I am in a relationship where we have similar tastes, we have similar likes, we have mutual respect for one another, we are comfortible , in a way I have never felt before, with each other. We encourage and support one another. We have fun together, we laugh, I love to hear and make her laugh, we cry, we sing, we dance, we enjoy each other. We kiss, we touch, we hold, we feel and yes, we have great sex. We worship together, we go to church, we talk of God, we pray, we share our doubts, our fears and our feelings with one another. We are "together" in every way. Had I have known that it was going to take fifty years to find her, I would have waited for her. When you feel like this about your love, and you are man and women, then and only then, is it right.

Adoption is a legal, not religious status, so it's the legal system that defines if you can marry your legal sister who is not biologically related to you.

if this is a serious question suggest you talk with your Priest, Minister, or Rabbi as well as check with the laws rules and mores of the State in which you reside
